The Word Of God
The Holy Spirit who trains us to walk in all truth and live in His Spirit, is training us to only live by His Word. He is a personal who never saturated to remind, rebuking, and 'disturb' us to read His Word every hour. He always reminds us, even when we are very busy. He is a personal who is very 'disturbing', but He has a great purpose and a plan to bring goodness for us. He builds us systematically with His Word. Every Word that He gives today is to strengthen us now, and also to face the challenges on the days ahead. So, if we want to be victorious on the days ahead, then we must not 'absent' from receiving the Word of God.
1. The Holy Spirit 'disturbs' us so we will not rely on our own strength, but to rely on His Word.
Our habit is to rely on our own strength in doing something. But the Holy Spirit wants to train us to rely on the power of His Word. We should continue to build the awareness that we need God in doing anything.
2. The Holy Spirit is training us to keep building and not losing the awareness of the reality of God
When we are busy, we often lose the awareness of the reality of God. This makes us suddenly become weak and often attacked by the spirit of the world which makes us feel worry, anxious and afraid. God does not want that to happen. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is working to remind us to read the Word every hour. So we can build up the awareness that God is real, He is still working, and He is controlling the situation and condition. This will strengthen us to always cling to God even though we have a very busy schedule. I believe, when we read the Word per hour per day, is the same as the hand of God is leading us to walk in victory.
3. Our heart attitude will always be reformed or aligned every hour.
Honestly, I feel that my heart attitude is often still inaccurate in facing certain conditions, which often makes me lose the peace and joy in my heart. But when the Holy Spirit reminds me to read the Word, then the inaccurate heart attitude will be aligned with the Word. Whatever the condition is, we can still easily give thanks and rejoice, and we do not make up the feelings. But it is something natural that comes from the work of The Holy Spirit.
4. Faith and hope will arise.
I noticed, when I continuously read the Word every hour, I can immediately rise up with the power of faith when I see the impossible things before my eyes. No more looser mentality when the enemy presents me with the negative facts of life. As faith arises from the hearing of the Word of God.
5. A divine lifestyle is build up.
There is no struggle in building a divine lifestyle if we consistently read the Word of God. Sometimes we feel that we are failing and unable to build a divine lifestyle due to some constraints, whether it is because of our inaccurate heart attitude or the unsupportive situation and condition.
At that moment the power of the Word that we read and declare, will work to mould our heart attitude and to cut off every objection to live in divine pattern. The power of the Word will give us the strength to build a divine lifestyle even though the situation is not supportive. The power of the Word will change the situation and condition so we can have a divine lifestyle! The point is, the Word will make us step in the pattern of divine life. (Ps. Steven Agustinus)
