HIS Church
HIS CHURCH
Mat 16:18 (NASB) I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
When Jesus told that He will build His church (Ekklesia) on earth, He will make 'this rock' as its foundation. The rock actually talks about those who hear the word (what is in God's heart), understand it fully, and give their lives to do it (Mat 7:24-25, Luk 6:46-48).
Church members as believers will truly become the church who represents the power of the Kingdom of Heaven on this earth, only when they become the doers of the word.
1. The parable of the sower illustrates God's 'struggle' to have believers who bear fruits of the kingdom on earth.
The road soil, rocky soil, thorny soil, and even the parable of tares amongst the wheat, are all illustrations of God's 'struggle' in having sons of the kingdom; the righteous on earth whom He could use to re-organise this world, which has and is being corrupted by the Devil.
So far, it seems that there is only a 'handful' of believers who are 'able' to provide the best heart soil. Even the good heart's produce still varies; some produces a hundred-fold, some sixty-fold, and some thirty-fold.
The majority of church members until today are those who receive the word but are lacking in their follow-up. In the end, the word could not condition them enough to be transformed in their heart attitude, foundational convictions and lifestyle. In every service, the people may not 'reject' the word outright. However, they never show an attempt that is serious enough to make the word overcome all kinds of love of this world, love of self or love of money which still contaminate their daily life. This include all kinds of inner conflict - disappointment, being offended, angry, and all kinds of surging negative emotions - and all kinds of pressure from evil spirits such as anxiety, guilt, worthlessness, fear of lack (from the spirit of love of money), etc.
All of them must be completely overcome before we could have the best heart soil. We need determination and perseverance in declaring the word until our heart soil is transformed; from unproductive to becoming one that is ready to bear fruits of the kingdom (Ps 8:2, Is 55:10-11).
2. Only those who 'has' could grow and experience breakthroughs after breakthroughs in their daily life.
There is a 'secret of the kingdom' that most believers don't understand: For those who 'has', more and more will be 'added' to them, while those who 'doesn't have', even what they have will be 'completely taken away' from them (Mat 13:11-12).
So, what is this 'thing' that we must have?
a. We must have and keep guarding the heart that is burning with first love towards Him.
b. We must have a spirit man whose nature is meek, mouldable, teachable and wanting to change.
c. We need the work of the spirit of prayer in our daily life.
d. We need the healthy and balanced work of the spirit of understanding and the spirit of knowledge of God.
All of them will give us an ever-victorious spiritual stature in all kinds of situation and circumstances we face in daily living. They will activate a spiritual cycle which makes all our life aspects to be built and on the increase. A cycle that seems to take time, but just like a tree planted by a river's stream, our life will constantly increase. Until God truly raise us as someone impactful, influential and renowned; having control and power over the society, ready to execute and realise Kingdom of God's agenda; to be the gate of heaven on earth; to be the agent of change for this corrupted world.
If so far we realise that we 'don?t have', we should come to the Father in His throne of grace and mercy to start to 'ask', 'seek' and even 'knock' so we could get the 'essential elements' which will condition us to always experience God's reality, experiencing life breakthroughs and transformations, so God could raise us as sons of the kingdom on earth (Mat 7:7, Heb 4:14-16). #iLoveGod (Ps.
