DIVINE LOVE

God wants our everyday life to be filled with joy, thanksgiving, victory, and the shouts & splendor of His presence’s reality, in all condition, and at all times. That’s the normal standard of believers’ life. And that’s the manifestation of God’s divinity which makes us different in the midst of this dark world.

 

Unfortunately, not all believers realize about it. Some even don’t understand about it at all. As a result, they assume that it is normal for them to harbor sadness, inner conflict, and all kinds of negative emotions when facing negative facts. And even crazier, many believers who have received forgiveness through the blood of Christ are still keeping other people’s mistakes and find it hard to forgive and to forget.

 

How terrifying! The world is getting darker because believers keep living in the molding of this world. Meanwhile, one of OUR CONCRETE MANIFESTATIONS AS SONS OF GOD IS THE UNCODITIONAL LOVE WHICH FORGIVES AND FORGETS THE WRONGS OF OTHERS. That is the BASIC/FUNDAMENTAL thing we have, because we’ve received it from the Father!

 

I came to realize that the most terrifying thing in believers’ life is when they find it hard to forgive and forget; and it makes God “angry.”

 

Matthew 18:32-35 (NASB) Then summoning him, his lord said to him, ‘You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’ And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.” 

 

I believe, if we truly pay attention to the matter of forgiving and forgetting, God will use our lives as a weapon for the restoration of all things. However, if we keep harboring the mistakes of others, our lives will stay ordinary – it’ll be hard for us to be lifted by God, and our hearts and emotions will continuously be tortured.

 

I tried to find the root problem of believers finding it hard to live in peace, joy, thanksgiving, and a victorious spirit every day. Usually, the problem lies in 3 things; disturbed ego, money problems (whether in lack, excess, or financial problems regarding others), and also due to various worldly desires that are yet to be achieved, hindered, or disturbed. They simply revolve around that. In other words, many believers are still in love with themselves, money, and this world.

 

How could that happen? Because the mind of many believer hasn’t been influenced/transformed according to Romans 6:11: “Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (NASB)

 

When we accept/believe this spiritual fact, all forms of the love of self, money, and this world could never touch our lives. We can become someone WHO COULD NOT BE OFFENDED, DISAPPOINTED, VENGEFUL, OR FILLED WITH OTHER NEGATIVE EMOTIONS – not at all! For WE ARE ALREADY DEAD. It’s impossible for a dead man to be angry, irritated, vengeful, and keep remembering other people’s mistake – no way! My prayer is for the Holy Spirit to help me live that verse. Let Romans 6:11 lives in me and me in the word.

 

But we mustn’t just stop there; we must not stay passive. We must be active when it comes to ALIVE TO GOD! It means, we must LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, SOUL, AND STRENGTH.

 

I see how the Devil and this world keeps sending ‘rubbish’ of negative emotions, inner conflict, disappointment, and vengeance into our lives. Without the FIRE OF THE LOVE OF GOD which CONTINUOUSLY BURNS, those rubbish will enter and clog the flow of LOVE, LIFE, DIVINE JOY, and THANKSGIVING which supposedly keeps flowing strongly from our hearts.

 

I feel that many people are waiting for the touch of DIVINE LOVE. They are waiting, they are seeking, yet they couldn’t find it. But the days of waiting are over. God will use our life as an answer to them. Through us, THE FATHER’S LOVE WILL TOUCH AND RESTORE THEIR LIVES!

 

When sin, Devil, and death manifested for the first time in the Garden of Eden, it was in the form of BLAMING ONE ANOTHER (between Adam and Eve) – MAN LOST THE DIVINE LOVE! Even the next generation KILLED THEIR OWN BROTHER (Cain and Abel). And until today, this world is filled with hate and murder.

 

1 John 3:11-15 (NASB) For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous. Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

 

The above verse emphasized to me that living in DIVINE LOVE, PEACE, JOY, and THANKSGIVING is something that MUSTN’T BE COMPROMISED ANYMORE. WE MUST FLOW THEM EVERY DAY. If not, DEATH WILL RULE OVER OUR LIVES AGAIN. As a result, we will pass away together with this world and all its lusts!

 

However, if we want to BE DETERMINED TO STAY BURNING IN THE LOVE OF GOD (fellowshipping with the word and Spirit everyday – praying, meditating, and declaring the word until our inner man is ablaze), then our life will always flow DIVINE LOVE, healing the lives of many people!

 

This world is in ruins because PEOPLE HATE EACH OTHER. However, THE RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS WILL COME THROUGH US WHO ALWAYS FLOW GOD’S DIVINE LOVE! Amen! #ILoveGod
