*THE YEAR OF KINGS*

*2 Samuel 11:1 (MSG)*
_1  When that time of year came around again, the anniversary of the Ammonite aggression, David dispatched Joab and his fighting men of Israel in full force to destroy the Ammonites for good. They laid siege to Rabbah, but David stayed in Jerusalem._

*The purposes of kings to go out to battle in the spring of the year are:*
1. Expand their territory
2. Add to their treasury
3. Have more slaves

*1 Peter 2:9 (MSG)*
_9  But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you._

*In Christ we all are His priest and king. One of our objectives is to see that the will of The King of kings be done upon this earth. And to see that all of devil’s plan are canceled. So let us use the God’s given authority to be His kings in the coming year.*
