THE ELISHA GENERATION

THE ELISHA GENERATION

When I woke up in the morning, there is a voice speaking strongly in my heart: “I am raising up the Elisha generation!”

 

From that voice, I quickly noted down the characteristics of the Elisha generation:

 

1. Willing to leave everything because they have seen the glory of God, and made God and His plan as the most precious and the only treasure in this life (1 Kings 19:19-21).

 

2. They have died from all their personal ambitions, and quickly positioned themselves as ‘servants’ of spiritual fathers (those who carry the divine pattern/blueprint – 1 Kings 19:21).

 

3. They have a strong determination and tenacity to only pursue things that are divine although it means fighting against the current in this life (2 Kings 2:1-25).

 

4. They have an enormous and powerful measure of living water which enables them to overcome all kinds of death easily and without struggle (2 Kings 2:19-22, 2 Kings 4:8-37, 38-41).

 

5. They have a spiritual stature/position and identity that could not be intimidated by anything or anyone. They could stay strong and continue to walk in finishing God’s will (2 Kings 2:23-25).

 

6. They always live in the throne room, but at the same time, they also live here on the earth (2 Kings 3:14), so whatever becomes the decree of the King could be delivered accurately. The impossible becomes possible, and what didn’t exist is created into existence just by speaking the word.

 

7. They have the ‘power’ to influence the conviction, heart attitude, and lifestyle of other people. Those who follow the words of the Elisha generation could experience God’s miraculous deeds (2 Kings 4:1-7).

 

8. Creative signs and wonders are with them (2 Kings 4:42-44, 2 Kings 5:1-15, 2 Kings 6:1-7).

 

9. Their hearts are clean and sanctified from all love of self and love of money. They will never bow down to Mammon. They will love and obey God alone (2 Kings 5:1-27).

 

10. They have the peace which surpasses all understanding, because they know the Father who is fighting for them, guarding them, and preserving their life (2 Kings 6:16).

 

11. They have healthy spiritual senses which enable them to operate in the gifts of the Spirit (2 Kings 6:8-23, 2 Kings 6:24-33).

 

12. They have an immense spiritual capacity, and they always have God’s word in their mouth. They are able to change the direction of a nation to the better (2 Kings 7:1-20).

 

13. They become signs and wonders for national leaders. Through the Elisha generation, leaders of a nation could encounter God and receive His instructions (2 Kings 8:7-15).

 

14. They continue to fulfill God’s plan that was given to their spiritual father. They fulfill it at the right time, and through the right ways (2 Kings 9:1-37, 10:1-36).

 

15. They carry the dimension of eternal live and godliness which could never be limited by ‘death’. That dimension of life could be accessed to revive the lives of many people (2 Kings 13:20-21).

 

I am very confident in what God is working on! And I believe that God is raising the Elisha generation which will overcome the world! #ILoveGod
