Prayer Will Always Change Our Life

Without knowing, someone's heart inclination often becomes the determining factor whether divine influence will frequently come into their life, or rather, demonic influence from worldly spirits which wants to drag the person to life in flesh or even depravity.

Someone's heart inclination is molded through various kinds of interactions, inputs and personal experiences which are all very complex and oftentimes personal. Therefore, God's grace and His own sovereign intervention is usually needed to change someone's heart inclination. Ask the Father to give you a heart that is focused towards the truth and the reality of His presence. Ask Him for a spirit that is meek, moldable, teachable, wanting to change; having a heart that always burns with first love towards Him.

When someone's heart inclination is focused towards the truth and the reality of His Kingdom, they will find how Holy Spirit will keep guiding their lives to walk into all truth and the glory of His kingdom (John 16:13, Prov 4:18).

2. We could condition ourselves to always be under the influence and control of the truth and Holy Spirit's power.

Holy Spirit will use our heart inclination to push us in keep pursuing His truth. He will use various events, people, situations or even various life facts to make us even crazier in chasing after the reality of His presence.

Those whose heart is inclined towards this world or towards themselves (self-centered) will respond negatively towards unwanted events. However, those whose heart is inclined towards the truth will show a different response! They will 'run towards God' when they experience negative events - there is a sense of spirituality speaking to them that all the answer they need is in Him. That?s why they feel compelled and moved to 'run towards God' and to ask Him to 'be the answer' they need.
From the prayers they lift before His presence, there will be a work of the word and the Spirit which will transform their life. Prayer will never change God; it will always change our life! The word and the Spirit will reform the person's perspective, foundational convictions and lifestyle, so that they will start having a different spiritual stature. They will have a mentality, heart attitude and foundational conviction that will enable them to face everything they have to face, and end up as a victor (James 5:16-18).

a. The influence level of the word and the Spirit in a person's life could keep growing.

Perseverance and consistency in following Holy Spirit's training and guidance is needed in building a lifestyle by faith and the word. As long as the person desires to pursue after God's reality (because their heart is truly inclined towards the truth), their daily life will surely manifest the fruits of the established godly lifestyle. The peace and joy of the Holy Spirit will keep governing their life; regardless of the situations and circumstances they have to face, the covering of God's presence is working strongly in their lives.

Fervent prayer in tongues, declaring and prophesying every word received, replaying every sermon listened, devoting oneself in the doctrine shared by the movement leader; all of them will help in growing and reinforcing the word and the Spirit's level of influence in a person's life. As long as the person wants to invest a portion of their time - because they take them as something vital and valuable - they will surely experience the word and the Spirit?s strength of influence growing in their life.

b. The word and Spirit's influence power could transform someone into a different man permanently

Usually, someone only experience the influence of the word and Spirit's power only for a certain time frame (temporary). While actually, the influence could be conditioned to transform a person's life permanently. The person truly becomes 'a different man'.

Peter once lived in inner conflict for denying Jesus three times - he even reverted to his old life as a fisherman (John 21:2-3). However, when Jesus met him personally and planted His word, added with experiencing the fullness of the Spirit (John 21:15-19, Acts 2:1-4), Peter rose as a different individual! He preached with full conviction, emphasizing about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth; 3000 people repented outright (Acts 2:14-40).

The Ephesians under the tutelage of Paul has also shaken the whole Asia because they rose as a different man - those who live under the power of the Spirit (Acts 19:9-12).

c. Experiencing Spirit fullness, Living in Spirit guidance, Living in Spirit power

Desiring and chasing after Holy Spirit's baptism is mandatory for every believer who wants to connect to the power of the Kingdom of Heaven.

When they experience Spirit baptism, signified by speaking in tongues, they will be able to use the prayer in tongue language as a tool to guard and grow the level of Spirit fullness that they should experience.

Starting from guarding the level of Spirit fullness, they will start to receive Holy Spirit's guidance on how to live from day to day. Through obedience and consistency in following Holy Spirit's guidance, someone will live in the power of the Spirit. There is a level of fullness of Christ occurring within them. All the victories  of Christ become merged into their life to be their victories as well. In the spirit realm, the Devil could no longer distinguish between the Christ seating at the Father's right hand side compared to the Christ starting to manifest in the daily life of believers. #iLoveGod (Ps. Steven Agustinus)
