The Creator Himself Is A King
The Spirit outpouring written in Acts 2 signified that Jesus has been enthroned on the Father's right hand. He has been positioned in His new function as the Great High Priest for all of us, and He has been glorified by the Father as King of all kings.
Before discussing about the Spirit outpouring itself, I'd like to explain in more depth about Jesus' glorification to be seated on the Father's right hand. What is the impact of this event for believers and God's church?
1. Understand everything that happened through the kingdom perspective/concept
Oftentimes, there are many events in the spirit world that is difficult for our logic to grasp. Because so far, we try to understand them through the natural perspective, or thinking patterns rooted in a daily life system accustomed to democracy and human rights in general.
The spirit realm runs on kingdom system because the Creator Himself is a King (Ps 95:3, 103:19, 145:13). Only by speaking, He created all things ? everything in the natural world and the spirit world were created by His decree and His words (John 1:1-3, Heb 11:3).
In the Kingdom system, whatever the King says has the power of law - it could even be said that whatever the King says is the law itself!
Whoever received the King's word or mandate to do something will be supported automatically. The person has the right to ask the King's full support to equip them with various 'signs and wonders' to emphasize their legitimacy as a King's envoy carrying a certain assignment. Just like how envoys receive a mandate from a kingdom, the King will equip His envoys with a ring or certain items to signify that they are truly sent by the King and are on a kingdom mission.
When the King's envoys are on duty, whatever they need will be fully supplied by the kingdom who sent them. Also, whoever is trying to hinder or sabotage the envoys from completing their assignment will instantly be branded as 'enemies of the kingdom'. The King Himself will command His subordinates (the angels) to start moving to 'take care of' all the activities of the 'enemies of the kingdom'.
We should build our thinking concept and foundational belief based on the Kingdom perspective above. Condition ourselves so that the above perspective, thinking pattern and foundational belief could truly flood and reform our perspective and way of thinking until it becomes our unshakable conviction. Imagine all of them while speaking in tongues. Whatever Spirit message or impression we receive, declare them as our prayer; use it as a material to prophecy over ourselves.
Through this manner, we are rebuilding our foundational belief. There will be many 'subconscious data that regulates our life' which will be changed. That change will drastically and dramatically influence and transform our daily life. #iLoveGod (Ps. Steven Agustinus)
