AROUND PRAYER

AROUND PRAYER

Ev Indriati Tjipto Wenas

Traveling prayer is a prophetic prayer to bind evil rulers in a place or region or area who are destroying that place or region or area either physically or spiritually.

Jeremiah 29:7 Seek the welfare of the city to which I exile you, and pray for the city to the LORD, for its welfare is your welfare

The city where we live is a place that must be fought for and prayed for, so this task is not only for prayers but also for all believers, this needs to be done so that the city experiences change and extraordinary things happen.

A. BASIC CONCEPTS OF AROUND PRAYER.

Joshua 1:3 Every place where the sole of your foot will tread I will give it to you, as I promised Moses.

Basically we are shepherds who shepherd other people, family members, business partners, and so on, we are trusted by God to serve them.

Matthew 9:35 So Jesus went about all the cities and villages; He taught in the synagogues and preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven and eliminated all disease and infirmity.

When we go to a place or region or region, one of our tasks is to bind all kinds of diseases and weaknesses.

I Peter 5: 7 Cast all your worries on Him, for He cares for you.

B. THE POWER THAT WORKS BEHIND CIRCULAR PRAYER

1. Power of Control

Matthew 28:17 When they saw Him they worshiped Him, but some doubted. 28:18 Jesus approached them and said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

"Luke 10 : 17  Then the seventy disciples returned with joy and said: "Lord, even the devils are subject to us in Your name.""

We are given the power to control and subdue a place or territory or area, know our battles, ask for sensitivity and precision in detail.

Sample case : There is a friend of ours who confides in us, when we face our friend, we must be able to detect the spirit that is in our friend...if the spirit that is there is a negative spirit such as self-love, judgment, bitter roots. So our task is to fight the spirits within him so that these spirits are destroyed and replaced with a new basis of truth.

2. The Power of destruction and breaking.

Luke 10:19 Surely I have given you power to tread on snakes and scorpions and power to resist the power of the enemy, so that nothing will harm you. All that is from the power of darkness is bound and destroyed, Break down all the barriers that have been preventing us from praying so that the divine can enter and so that the Kingdom of God can be channeled and established in all places or areas or areas where we live and are.

3. The power of reconciliation and cleansing.

Colossians 1:20 and by Him He reconciled all things to Himself, both things on earth and things in heaven, after He made peace through the blood of the cross of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and who entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation.

Sometimes the place or region or area where we live and exist has a dirty atmosphere because it was built on the wrong basis. Our task is to tear down the old foundation and replace it with a new foundation, clean the place or territory or area where we live and exist.

C. MAIN TARGET OF COVER PRAYER.

1. Bring down the strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:17 "But whoever boasts, let him boast in the Lord."

There are fortresses or places of worship built by the powers of darkness where they serve as a place of foothold and activity. recognize places like this, detect them, ask for the HOLY SPIRIT and then destroy them from the roots so that the place is not used by dark forces.

2. Destroy the gates of death.

Psalm 9:14 Have mercy on me, O LORD; behold my misery, caused by those who hate me, O You, who lifted me from the gates of death, In the place or area where we live and are, there is often something called the gate of death, where accidents or incidents often occur that take someone's life. Therefore, the door must be closed so that the bloodguilt that exists does not claim another soul before GOD's time.

3. Destroy all death traps

Psalm 18:6 The ropes of Hades have entangled me, the traps of death are set before me.

4. Destroy the walls and tear down the towers

Ezekiel 26:3-4 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre. I will cause many nations to rise up against you, as the sea raises its waves. They will destroy the walls of Tire and tear down its towers, I will remove the dust of its earth from it and make it a bare rock.

5. Cleanse the focus area

6. Remove all curses and release all blessings.

Romans 1:14 I am indebted to both Greeks and non-Greeks, both learned and unlearned.

7. Take over and proclaim the focus area

Matthew 18 : 18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

D. Recognize enemy territory and bases

1. What are the main problems in the area of focus.

Titus 1:2 and based on the hope of eternal life which God who does not lie promised before the beginning of time,

2. Get to know the enemy's strength map through the devil's foothold

Example: Gerasa youth, temple of goddess artemis. So that we can precisely "Shoot and destroy"

Mark 5:1-17 NKJV

5 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the [a]Gadarenes. 2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind [b]him, not even with chains, 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. 7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore[c] You by God that You do not torment me.”

8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?”

And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” 13 And [d]at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.

14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 16 And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. 17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.

3. Enemy characters in the focus area.

Genesis 19:1-9 KJV

19 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

4. Get to know the enemy's work formation in the area of focus.

E. Spiritual Warfare Strategy During Mobile Prayer

1. The enemy's attack strategy

We must recognize the enemy's strategy and when praying around we must also attack by speaking the truth of God's Word.

1 Peter 5:8-9, Be alert and alert! Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Resist him with firm faith, because you know that all your brothers throughout the world suffer the same suffering.

2. Bind strong people and guards in the area that is the focus of that area.

Mark 3:27, But no one can enter the house of a strong man to seize his possessions unless he has first bound the strong man. Only then could he rob the house. In every place or region or area where we live and are, there are always guards or strong people. Use the authority that has been given to bind it (because we live there, we have legality over that place). Don't let the powers of darkness play tricks on us.

3. Disrupt and paralyze all strategies and programs of the ruler of darkness

Acts 8:9-13, A man named Simon had been doing magic in the city for a long time and amazed the people of Samaria, and acted as if he was a very important person. Everyone, big and small, followed him and said: “This man is the power of God who is known as the Great Power.” And they followed him, because he had long amazed them with his magical deeds. But now they believed Philip, who preached the gospel about the Kingdom of God and about the name of Jesus Christ, and they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself also believed, and after being baptized, he remained with Philip, and was amazed when he saw the great signs and miracles that were performed. In the beginning, the power of darkness always made those who adhered to it seem to have "extraordinary prowess", only to make the people around them amazed and follow them. Therefore, when we pray around, we say and proclaim the real truth, and that is what will change and reverse the situation. And let the real truth open their eyes so that they believe and follow Jesus.

4. Form an attack formation

Examples: forming a praise and worship team, forming a spiritual warfare team, a team of peace and support.

5. Use the complete armor of God

Ephesians 6:14-17, So stand firm, girded with truth and the breastplate of justice, your feet clothed with the willingness to preach the gospel of peace; in all circumstances use the shield of faith, for with it you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one, and receive the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, Before waging war, we should pray and ask God to equip us with divine weapons because the war we face is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers in the air. This equipment includes the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, the belt of truth, the armor of justice, the sandals of willingness to preach the gospel.

6. Fight with full authority and involve God's angels

Exodus 14:19 , Then the angel of God moved, who had been walking in front of the army of Israel, then walked behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them, and stood behind them. So the angels changed positions and were behind the Israelites and they faced the Egyptian army when they crossed the Red Sea and were chased by the Egyptian army.

F. What do we see when we pray around?

1. Sheep without a shepherd

Matthew 9:36, Seeing the crowd, Jesus was moved with compassion for them, for they were weary and scattered like sheep without a shepherd.

2. People who are in darkness

Acts 26:18, to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may through their faith in Me obtain forgiveness of sins and share in what is appointed for those who are sanctified .

3. A lion looking for its prey

1 Peter 5:8, Be alert and alert! Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

G. Required Team Preparation

1. Excellent physical condition

2. Mental resilience and good spiritual condition

3. Team loyalty in the concept and mechanism of traveling prayer

1 Corinthians 1:10, But I urge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you be of one accord and that there be no divisions among you, but rather that you be closely united and of one mind.

4. Covered by the blood of Jesus

Revelation 12:11, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. Because they do not love their lives even to the point of death.

Romans 5:9, Moreover, since we have now been justified by His blood, we will surely be saved from the wrath of God.

5. Burning with existing spirit

Romans 12:11, Let not your zeal be slack, let your spirit be kindled and serve the Lord..

H. The need to carry out regular attacks up to the level of takeover.

1. Mobile prayer must be followed up or sustainable

2. Formation of mobile prayer teams or mobile prayer networks

3. Establishment of prayer camps in strategic places..

I. Types of Prayer and Teams When Praying Around

1. Praise and worship team

Psalm 22:4, Yet you are the Holy One who resides in the praise of Israel.

2. Peace team

Leviticus 9:7, Moses said to Aaron: “Come near the altar, offer your sin offerings and burnt offerings, and make atonement for yourself and for the people; After that, prepare the people's offerings and make atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded."

3. Spiritual warfare team

Luke 10:19, Behold, I have given you power to tread on snakes and scorpions and power to resist the power of the enemy, so that nothing will harm you.

4. Support team (specifically pray for the team above)

Exodus 17:12, So Moses' hands were tired, so they took a stone and put it under him, so that he could sit on it; Aaron and Hur supported both hands, one on one side, one on the other, so that his hands did not move until the sun went down.
