Holy Spirit Power
From time to time God keeps bringing the church to climb an increasingly greater glory. Holy Spirit is drawing most church members to climb an even higher level of glory. They become ordinary Christians no more, they are being raised as Believers (Mark 16:17).
From the understanding God gives, the following conclusion can be drawn about the definition of Believers (Greek: Pisteuo): Those who follow-up their new birth by opening themselves to be influenced/convinced by the truth of the word revealed by the Holy Spirit, therefore, they have a conviction or a thought pattern aligned to (and a life expressing) the truth they have received.
1. The true life as believers is actually 'outside' the church building; within the daily activities.
So far, many Christians are exhibiting their Christian life by wearing certain accessories or just by showing good morals. This is partly due to the influence of the spirits of religiosity; and partly also due to the work of worldly spirits: selfishness, individualism, etc. But many Christians experience this because they have never been connected to Spirit power, making their lives stay external, humanistic or even worldly (full of flesh) - almost no difference compared to the wicked.
However, the Bible emphasises, when we position ourselves to function as 'believers', right at that moment, we will realise that it is a kind of life full of spiritual adventures. There will be no spiritual boredom or saturation. Holy Spirit will keep bringing us to function in presenting the Kingdom of Heaven in our daily lives. Life as believers is an expression of what we have received so far from the Holy Spirit, which we believe and live in throughout our daily activities. Therefore, what we enjoyed so far only in church services, could be brought into reality, manifesting in our daily lives.
2. Our authority as Believers positions and enables us to function as the light and solution in this world.
Facing evil spirits, sicknesses and other life problems is the common suffering felt by most people in this world - the daily lives of believers are of no exception. However, when Holy Spirit's power accompany believers, many disturbances from evil spirits (sickness or troubles) will automatically be easy to overcome. Believers live a life full of victory, while most other people's lives are full of tears and sorrow. Surely, this contrast will attract the attention of many people; those who desire to live the same victorious life. This is one of the ways God allow believers to present the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven to the daily lives of many.
1 Cor 4:20 (NASB) - For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.
Rm 14:17 (NASB) - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
I BELIEVE THIS IS THE TIME FOR BELIEVERS TO RISE AND DEMONSTRATE THE POWER OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. THIS IS THE TIME FOR EVERY BELIEVER TO MAKE SURE THAT THEIR DAILY LIFE ALWAYS MANIFEST THE POWER OF HIS KINGDOM, THE PEACE AND JOY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
