10 Perintah Tuhan

* Keluaran 20:1-17

Lalu Allah (ELOHIM) mengucapkan segala firman ini:

And God spake all these words, saying,

וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֵת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר׃ ס

VAYEDABER 'ELOHIM 'ET KOL-HADEVARIM HA'ELEh LEMOR

"Akulah TUHAN (YHVH), Allahmu (ELOHEYKHA), yang membawa engkau keluar dari tanah Mesir, dari tempat perbudakan.

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר הֹוצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים׃

'ANOKHI YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ELOHEYKHA 'ASYER HOTSETIKHA ME'ERETS MITSRAYIM MIBEIT 'AVADIM

Jangan ada padamu allah (ELOHIM) lain di hadapan-Ku.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

לֹא יִהְיֶה־לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים עַל־פָּנָיַ ׃

LO-YIHYEH LEKHA 'ELOHIM 'AKHERIM 'AL-PANAY

Jangan membuat bagimu patung yang menyerupai apa pun yang ada di langit di atas, atau yang ada di bumi di bawah, atau yang ada di dalam air di bawah bumi.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה־לְךָ פֶסֶל ׀ וְכָל־תְּמוּנָה אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׁמַיִם ׀ מִמַּעַל וַאֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ מִתַָּחַת וַאֲשֶׁר בַּמַּיִם ׀ מִתַּחַת לָאָרֶץ ׃

LO-TA'ASEH LEKHA FESEL VEKHOL-TEMUNAH 'ASYER BASYAMAYIM MIMA'AL VA'ASYER BA'ARETS MITAKHAT VA'ASYER BAMAYIM MITAKHAT LA'ARETS

Jangan sujud menyembah kepadanya atau beribadah kepadanya, sebab Aku, TUHAN (YHVH), Allahmu ('ELOHEYKHA), adalah Allah yang cemburu, yang membalaskan kesalahan bapa kepada anak-anaknya, kepada keturunan yang ketiga dan keempat dari orang-orang yang membenci Aku,

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

לֹא־תִשְׁתַּחְוֶה לָהֶם וְלֹא תָעָבְדֵם כִּי אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֵל קַנָּא פֹּקֵד עֲוֹן אָבֹת עַל־בָּנִים עַל־שִׁלֵּשִׁים וְעַל־רִבֵּעִים לְשֹׂנְאָי׃

LO-TISYTAKHAVE LAHEM VELO TA'AVDEM KI 'ANOKHI YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ELOHEYKHA 'EL QANA POKED 'AVON 'AVOT 'AL-BANIM 'AL-SYILESYIM VE'AL-RIBE'IM LESONAY

tetapi Aku menunjukkan kasih setia kepada beribu-ribu orang, yaitu mereka yang mengasihi Aku dan yang berpegang pada perintah-perintah-Ku.

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

וְעֹשֶׂה חֶסֶד לַאֲלָפִים לְאֹהֲבַי וּלְשֹׁמְרֵי מִצְוֹתָי׃ ס

VE'OSEH KHESED LA'ALAFIM LE'OHAVAY ULESYOMREY MITSVOTAY

Jangan menyebut nama TUHAN (YHVH), Allahmu ('ELOHEYKHA), dengan sembarangan, sebab TUHAN akan memandang bersalah orang yang menyebut nama-Nya dengan sembarangan.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

לֹא תִשָּׂא אֶת־שֵׁם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לַשָּׁוְא כִּי לֹא יְנַקֶּה יְהוָה אֵת אֲשֶׁר־יִשָּׂא אֶת־שְׁמֹו לַשָּׁוְא׃ פ

LO' TISA 'ET-SYEM- YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ELOHEYKHA LASYAV KI LO YENAQEH YEHOVAH(dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ET 'ASYER-YISA 'ET-SYEMO LASYAV

Ingatlah dan kuduskanlah hari Sabat:

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

זָכֹור אֶת־יֹום הַשַּׁבָּת לְקַדְּשֹׁו ׃

ZAKHOR 'ET-YOM HASYABAT LEQADSYO

enam hari lamanya engkau akan bekerja dan melakukan segala pekerjaanmu,

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תַּעֲבֹד וְעָשִׂיתָ כָּל־מְלַאכְתֶּךָ ׃

SYESYET YAMIM TA'AVOD VE'ASITA KOL-MELAKHTEKHA

tetapi hari ketujuh adalah hari Sabat TUHAN (LA'YHVH), Allahmu ('ELOHEYKHA); maka jangan melakukan sesuatu pekerjaan, engkau atau anakmu laki-laki, atau anakmu perempuan, atau hambamu laki-laki, atau hambamu perempuan, atau hewanmu atau orang asing yang di tempat kediamanmu.

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

וְיֹום הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבָּת ׀ לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לֹא־תַעֲשֶׂה כָל־מְלָאכָה אַתָּה ׀ וּבִנְךָ־וּבִתֶּךָ עַבְדְּךָ וַאֲמָתְךָ וּבְהֶמְתֶּךָ וְגֵרְךָ אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ ׃

VEYOM HASYEVI'I SYABAT LAYEHOVAH (dibaca: La'Adonay) 'ELOHEYKHA LO'-TA'ASEH KHOL-MELAKHA 'ATA UVINKHA UVITEKHA 'AVDEKHA VA'AMATKHA UVEHEMTEKHA VEGERKHA 'ASYER BISYAREYKHA

Sebab enam hari lamanya TUHAN (YHVH) menjadikan langit dan bumi, laut dan segala isinya, dan Ia berhenti pada hari ketujuh; itulah sebabnya TUHAN (YHVH) memberkati hari Sabat dan menguduskannya.

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

כִּי שֵׁשֶׁת־יָמִים עָשָׂה יְהוָה אֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת־הָאָרֶץ אֶת־הַיָּם וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּם וַיָּנַח בַּיֹּום הַשְּׁבִיעִי עַל־כֵּן בֵּרַךְ יְהוָה אֶת־יֹום הַשַּׁבָּת וַיְקַדְּשֵׁהוּ׃ ס

KI SYESYET-YAMIM 'ASAH YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ET-HASYAMAYIM VE'ET-HA'ARETS ET-HAYAM VE'ET-KOL-'ASYER-BAM VAYANAKH BAYOM HASYEVI'I 'AL-KEN BERAKH YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ET-YOM HASYABAT VAYEQADSYEHU

Hormatilah ayahmu dan ibumu, supaya lanjut umurmu di tanah yang diberikan TUHAN (YHVH), Allahmu ('ELOHEYKHA), kepadamu.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

כַּבֵּד אֶת־אָבִיךָ וְאֶת־אִמֶּךָ לְמַעַן יַאֲרִכוּן יָמֶיךָ עַל הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ׃ ס

KABED 'ET-'AVIKHA VE'ET-'IMEKHA LEMA'AN YA'ARIKHUN YAMEYKHA 'AL HA'ADAMAH 'ASYER- YEHOVAH (dibaca: 'Adonay) 'ELOHEYKHA NOTEN LAKH

Jangan membunuh.

Thou shalt not kill.

לֹא תִּרְצָח׃ ס

LO' TIRTSAKH

Jangan berzinah.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

לֹא תִּנְאָף׃ ס

LO' TINAF

Jangan mencuri.

Thou shalt not steal.

לֹא תִּגְנֹב׃ ס

LO' TIGNOV

Jangan mengucapkan saksi dusta tentang sesamamu.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

לֹא־תַעֲנֶה בְרֵעֲךָ עֵד שָׁקֶר׃ ס

LO-TA'ANEH VERE'AKHA 'ED SYAQER

Jangan mengingini rumah sesamamu; jangan mengingini isterinya, atau hambanya laki-laki, atau hambanya perempuan, atau lembunya atau keledainya, atau apa pun yang dipunyai sesamamu."

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

לֹא תַחְמֹד בֵּית רֵעֶךָ לֹא־תַחְמֹד אֵשֶׁת רֵעֶךָ וְעַבְדֹּו וַאֲמָתֹו וְשֹׁורֹו וַחֲמֹרֹו וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר לְרֵעֶךָ׃ פ

LO TAKHMOD BEIT RE'EKHA LO'-TAKHMOD 'ESYET RE'EKHA VE'AVDO VA'AMATO VESYORO VAKHAMORO VEKHOL 'ASYER LE'RE'EKHA
